Alice In Wonderland
The concept development began to look at this idea of mystery and losing yourself within a building. This will be done through the movement between the space and all the aspects within the space. The two examples below are more interior design examples but looking at them I felt was relevant due to how the spaces need to be styled with tables within the restaurant spaces and workbenches within the kitchens.
Looking Glass Cottage, Brighton
Looking at this example was more of an interior decor choice as to how the space has been used to create this theme through the use of the space. The idea of using the Alice in Wonderland theme - the idea of getting lost and the mystery of a space. Looking at the Looking Glass Cottage showed how the space can be decorate and developed to enhance the experience and further convey the concept behind the design development.
Beatnik Breaks
The Beatnik Breaks is again an idea which looks at this Alice in Wonderland style concept but also looks at the idea of social eating. The idea of using large eating spaces where large groups can gather and eat together. I feel where as this example uses the ideas that I want to convey within the project this example is more interior design rather than interior architecture.
